It's been a while, but this news service has finally been restored! There was some problem with the database after the server move and hopefully we will be seeing a lot more updates (but who really knows).

So sorry for the lack of updates, school got ahead of me for a while there!

Progress on our statue has finally got under way! We have nearly rough-finished the main 15ft horn and are about to start on the smaller 4ft mids, pending weather (it's too warm!). Pictures of construction are found here: http://aes.students.mtu.edu/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=21

Sorry this is such a late update, but we've been slowly working on all of our upcoming Winter Carnival 2010 stuff. Bottom-left is a picture of what we are planning on creating this year (click on it for a larger image). On the right we have part of the form that we started to build for the large horn. We are officially being sponsored by Klipsch and they are providing our drivers this year. We're all heading home for break now, but we will immediately start working on our snow statue come Spring Semester (official start date for Month-Long is January 7th, 2010).
