How To Subscribe To A List:
  • From your Huskymail account (or any email, actually), compose an email addressed to sympa@mtu.edu
  • In the subject of your email, type "subscribe [listname] [your-name]" where [listname] is the name of the list WITHOUT the @mtu.edu suffix and the optional [your-name] is obviously your name (e.g: "subscribe aes-l John Wayne" to join the general list).
  • Leave the body of the email BLANK
  • Either wait for the confirmation (should be instantaneous), or visit lists.mtu.edu to view all of your various list details.
  • If it doesn't work, please contact one of our officers who can directly put you on a specific list.
  • Links to subscribe to:    Main List     Car     Home     Pro      (just hit send!)
How To Unsubscribe To A List:
  • From your registered email (per above instructions), compose an email addressed to sympa@mtu.edu
  • In the subject of your email, type "unsubscribe [listname]" where [listname] is the name of the list WITHOUT the @mtu.edu suffix (e.g: "unsubscribe aes-l" to leave the general list).
  • Leave the body of the email BLANK
  • Specific settings of a list dictate whether you will recieve a confirmation email or not, so make sure to check lists.mtu.edu to confirm whether you left the appropriate list.
